MCDC Inaugural meeting 2009

MCDC members attended a 3 day meeting in Kenya last month at the KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Programme Centre in Kilifi.

The main objective of the meeting was networking and was especially aimed at bringing together the new MCDC PhD students and the MCDC Investigators (formerly GMP PhD students and post-doctoral fellows).

Following the Kilifi meeting, MCDC members then travelled to Nairobi to attend the Fifth MIM Pan-African Malaria Conference which ran the following week from 2nd-6th November 2009.
