MCDC Postgraduate Supervision Course - Kumasi

Atwo-day workshop to support the supervisors and advisors of the MCDC PhD students was held in Kumasi.

The workshop was held in the Noda Hotel between the 31 May and 1 June 2010. The workshop was formally opened by the Provost of KNUST College of Health Sciences, the Dean of Graduate Studies and the MCDC Co-ordinator at KNUST.  In addition to the MCDC supervisors and advisors, and supervisors from the School of Medical Sciences, the workshop was also attended by invitees from the Noguchi Institute, the Ghana Health Service, Komfe Anokye Teaching Hospital and the Faculty of Engineering at KNUST.  This staff development opportunity brought together 22 experienced and new supervisors, and was led by Dr Kate Exley - a consultant in Staff Development and Training from the UK.
