MCDC meeting 2011

The Malaria Capacity Development Consortium (MCDC) will meet in Ghana next year on 17th - 19th January. MCDC now has about 50 members including 20 PhD students, and 30 of the previous Gates Malaria Partnership (GMP) students.

The student's African and the northern supervisors have been invited to attend the meeting as well as  the steering committee and external advisory committee.

The focus of the meeting will be malaria but more general aspects of research capacity development will also be covered. The meeting will provide an opportunity for some of the more senior investigators as well as the new PhD students to present their projects and posters. More general sessions on supervision, mentoring and personal development planning will also be organised.
