The MCDC Community and Web-sharing
MCDC has developed an interactive online intranet to support its capacity strengthening activities. PDP, mentoring and research are all supported via the Community which also hosts PhD and student–supervisor logs, a document store, discussion fora, a learning zone and a messaging service. The Community provides a central point for disseminating information such as calls for proposals, PDP and career development opportunities.
To promote and enhance research capacity building in shared partner institutions, MCDC are currently working collaboratively with THRiVE to develop a web-sharing facility, where members of both consortia will be able to access areas of the interactive MCDC community.
