Themba Mzilahowa completed his PhD under the Gates Malaria Partnership,. He has received two Initiative Award from the Malaria Capacity Development Consortium (MCDC) for his projects:
- Preliminary data on the impact of combined scale up of indoor residual house spray (IRS) and long-lasting insecticide treated bednets [LLINs] on development of pyrethroid resistance in Malawi.
- Response of An arabiensis and An funestus to malaria control interventions under field conditions in two geographic settings in Malawi
