Hazel McCullough

Professional Development and Educational Advisor

Hazel McCullough is the Professional Development and Educational Advisor on the Malaria Capacity Development Consortium (MCDC) programme based at the Université de Dakar (Senegal).  She qualified in nursing at the Royal Brompton Hospital (London) and after a long career in the NHS as a community nurse, senior nurse manager and project lead, she moved into higher education as a senior lecturer and later deputy head of practice learning at the University of Chester.  She is also an educational supervisor on the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine’s Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching (PGCILT) programme and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
