Congratulations to Senegalese MCDC student Dr Roger Tine who last week successfully defended his thesis. The viva took place at Dr Ndiaye's home institution, L'Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar. He is the second MCDC student to have taken his viva. Many more will follow over the coming months.

Dr Tine's PhD project investigated an integrated malaria control strategy including home based malaria management (HMM) and seasonal malaria chemoprophylaxis (SMC) delivered by community health workers in Senegal.Three publications resulting from this study are already available to read in the publications section of this website.
