The Fourth Annual MCDC Meeting, New Orleans

The Malaria Capacity Development Consortium (MCDC) held its fourth Annual meeting in New Orleans 31st Oct - 2 Nov '14 at the Hilton Riverside Hotel. Over 80 people associated with MCDC attended the meeting and contributed to its success. The guest lecture was delivered by Prof Francine Ntoumi from the Congolese Foundation for Medical Research, Republic of Congo. Dr Evelyn Ansah and Dr Youssoupha Ndiaye were awarded a prize for the best oral presentations by a postdoc and PhD student, respectively, and Dr Magatte Ndiaye and Joaniter Nankabirwa received prizes for the best posters overall. Following on from this meeting 24 students and postdocs presented their work at the ASTMH meeting.
