All of our activities in Senegal are linked to MCDC partner the Université Cheikh Anta Diop, Dakar. We have been working with the Faculty of Medicine to strengthen their research capacity and we also support 4 MCDC PhD students there.
Dr Badara Cisse has received an MCDC Senior Fellowship award for his project identifying and characterising foci of malaria transmission in potential malaria elimination settings in rural Senegal.
